Darin Carter is a digital marketer specializing in search marketing (SEO & PPC), affiliate marketing, social media marketing, online reputation management, lead generation, and much more since 1999.
His career began in 1996 when he was the President of InnoTech, Inc., a high-end computer network/deployment for major DME companies. In 1999, Darin became the 1st affiliate manager for onResponse, Inc., one of the first affiliate networks ever. He handled over 100 affiliates that were responsible for over $250,000 in revenue per month. In 2000, Darin was the Director of Business Development for CitraCom.com, Inc. where he managed websites such as IAWMD.com, GoldenWebAwards.com, IQSeek.com, and Wellington Computer, Inc. He also helped create a marketing strategy for IQSeek.com and converted it from a meta-search engine to a pay-per-click (PPC) search engine. At the time, there were only 25 PPC engines when IQSeek.com started. IQSeek.com then went on to be a top 10 PPC destination for World Wide Advertisers out of 600+ PPC Engines. In 2002, Darin became the CEO/President of CitraCom.com, Inc. for several years.
In 2006, he became the Marketing Director for Baby Universe, Inc., where he assisted in taking the company from $16 million in revenue a year to $32 million. In 2007, Darin also sat on the Omniture Customer Advisory Board to assist Omniture, Inc. with UI for the Omniture Search Center product. Darin started his own personal blog on search marketing. Since 2008, his blog has held a first-page position several times for the keyword “search marketing.” In 2008, Darin was the CEO/President of Internet, LLC. Shortly after, in 2009, Darin was President of Universal Domain Group, Inc., where he managed over $1,000,000 per month in marketing budget for several large co-reg media companies.
In 2011 Darin served as Chief Operating Officer / Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Search Marketing / Agency Services for BMI Elite / BMI Ventures, Inc., a full-service digital advertising agency, and assisted in building the company from 20 employees to over 75 employees. Darin was also responsible for building out the Agency Services business that took BMI Elite from an eMail marketing company to a full-service digital advertising agency.
In 2013 Darin was chosen by Google to be one of the first 8,000 beta testers for the Google Glass Project worldwide.
In 2014 Darin served as Vice President of Marketing for The Addiction Advisor, an addiction services marketing company.
In 2014 Darin served as the Director of Online Marketing for LAXWorld.Com – A top online e-commerce destination for for the best names in lacrosse equipment, clothing, and accessories.
